One year ago today, we were on a plane with our little manatee heading home from Korea. What a way to start of the new year, huh? So exciting for us, but our poor little guy must have been so confused and sad to leave his wonderful foster parents. He's doing great though and we can't imagine life without him! We celebrated our Forever Family Day by going out to eat and just hanging out as a family!

One year ago today...we met Micah!

Merry Christmas and One Year Ago Today...

We packed our bags and flew off on Christmas night to meet our little manatee! What a Christmas present!

One year ago today...

we got the call that our little manatee was ready for us to come and pick him up! After a few minutes of disbelief, we ran over to Uncle Chris and Aunt Kelly's house to use their internet to book our flight to Seoul, South Korea! We would be leaving Christmas night and coming home New Year's Eve! That was the best call in the world!

Santa was very nice and stood up behind Micah and daddy because Micah was not going anywhere near him! He started tearing up, poor guy!

Nana E. wants to measure Micah by this Santa each year to see how much he's growing! Micah has been good about not touching the Christmas tree or presents under it! I wonder how long this will last!

Micah loves the snow!

We went out in the snow yesterday, and Micah absolutely loved it! He was so bundled up, he fell forward a couple of times, and couldn't get back up by himself! When I picked him up, he had snow all over his face! That didn't stop him though from wanting to be out there though. He fussed when I brought him in until I told him it was bath time. Luckily he really likes baths, too! I made sure I took a picture of him and I together to prove I was out there, too! I hate the cold and snow! But for Micah, I'll do just about anything : )

They are only 7 months apart though so that makes sense! 

Micah Being Silly!

I just wanted to post some pics of our silly boy! He loves making hats out of everything and sitting in things! He's a little under the weather right now unfortunately but hopefully he'll be feeling better soon!

He also helped Mommy vote in his first ever election! He even got his own "I voted" sticker!

Little Yoda went trunk or treating with his friends-a policewoman, Tigger, a skunk, and some fairy princesses! He didn't quite understand what was going on but he did like the candy!

Here's our first ever blog post! I don't have much to say yet but wanted to start getting pics up so those of you who don't get to see Micah alot could see how he's growing! Thanks to our friend Mellissa for helping us set this up!
